About the photo and other thoughts

It's gloomy.  Just the kind of weather I like.  Actually, my favorite kind of weather is spring rain sort of weather.  Fonty and I (my nephew) love what we call duck weather.  That's cloudy, foggy, rainy weather.  We'd do very well in Seattle.

So, there's a storm approaching and we're hunkered down for the day due to the *winter storm warning*.  I have some things to finish up headed for Craftee Crafters.  Two shrugs which I hope will sell.  Then going to work on a dress for a little girl from a pattern found online.  That will go on Artfire.  I never sell anything but it's fun doing all this. ;-)

As for the scarf recently placed in the photo section......It comes from an Annie's Attic booklet publication entitled "Year Round Sweaters" from 1999.  The pattern is called "Twin Leaf Panel Pullover".  I liked the twin leaf design they put going up the middle of the front of the sweater and decided to play with it.

Oh and the nick name Fonty is from "Little Lord Fauntleroy".  It's one of our favorite movies.  Fonty calls me Dearest from the same movie.

I'll be posting pictures of the shrugs (assuming I remember to) before taking them to Craftee Crafters.  That, by the way, is a store in Topeka Kansas where crafters sell their wares.  I also sell on Artfire under the studio name of KansasStitchTwister.

Here we go again

New day, new computer, new attempt.  This is my newest blog for knitting.  I knit with two stick, with an LK 150 and with a Brother 260.  It's my relaxation, my art and my challenge.  Knitting is the most fun I've ever had. So, as of today February 23, 2011 at 4:08 PM, this is the launch of what I hope will be a successful blog.  I wrote all my information down this time and hope I won't get lost.

For my next trick, I hope to figure out how to post pictures.
